1938 POEMS OF CHINESE MISSIONARY MARTYR. The Faith of Betty Scott Stam. Rare.
1938 POEMS OF CHINESE MISSIONARY MARTYR. The Faith of Betty Scott Stam. Rare.
The rarest of the publications related to the young martyrs of the China Inland Mission, John and Betty Stam. Betty and John were trained at Moody Bible Institute, joined with the China Inland Mission, and were both beheaded by the Chinese in 1934.
The present poems were the last flower of her fragrant life and testimony to be published. Their lives have been immortalized in The Life and Triumph of John and Betty Stam. It was written by Geraldine Guinness, daughter in law of Hudson Taylor, and was one of the most influential missionary works of the period.
