A really wonderful original two-sided tape containing original, unpublished recorded sermons by Rev. Clarence Jordan [1912-1969] from the Ohio Baptist Minister's Conference, 1961.

Jordan was an absolutely fascinating character inside the Baptist movement. He was variously a farmer, a New Testament Greek Scholar, the founder of Koinonia Farm which served as a model of Kingdom ideals and was a sort of Utopian community, helped found Habitat for Humanity, produced the Cotton Patch New Testament, and was a advocate for integration of "on earth as it is in heaven" practice among Baptist churches. This included a critical role, as a leading George Baptist, in the Civil Rights movement.

He is, to this day, considered by many to have been a prophet . . . which of course means not everyone was a fan.

The tape includes sermons on: I. The First Four Commandments. II. On Acts 20 - The Pastor's Love for the Flock. and III. On Matthew 26.36 - Judas.

Complete. Original box worn. Tape in excellent condition; guaranteed playable. Worthy of transcription and preservation.
