1999 J. K. ROWLING. The "Thomas Riddle" Edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
A wonderful item for the Harry Potter fan.
J. K. Rowling was in Greyfriars Kirkyard while writing her now classic works. And there, one of the tombstones, she saw the name, Thomas Riddle. She knew it had to be used, and ended up becoming the student-name of one of the most terrifying villains in literary history.
When we had the opportunity to purchase a small group of items that bore the original Thomas Riddle's signature, we knew we had to have them. We then had 8 copies of The Chamber of Secrets bound in quarter morocco with "Tom Marvolo Riddle" tooled on leather on front and "I Am Lord Voldemort" on the rear, neatly laid over a custom printed 18th century French marbled paper we reproduced for this project.
One of the volumes went to each of our three sons. One is in my collection, and I just four available for sale. Tooled at the base "Riddle Edition." Each with an original autograph of Thomas Riddle of Berwick, Scotland neatly laid in. The example you receive may be a slight variant signature from the one shown; all very similar though.
