An extensive scrapbook in a large folio ledger belong to a Mrs. Hall, inclusive of many hundreds of clipped articles relative to the temperance movement, social, ethical, and political motives for the furtherance of prohibition, political movement on the issue of prohibition, biographies of prohibition candidates, etc. etc. 

Of special note are various letters from various leaders of the Women's Temperance Union [local and national], a fine mid-19th century "Freeman's Oath" taken in the State of Vermont [first required, 1777], a broadside showing the Prohibition Party ticket of John St. John and William Daniel for the Presidency [1884], an 1884 broadside issued by the Massachusetts Prohibition Party regarding the 1884 elections, etc. 

A good copy, bound in half leather, generally solid, with light foxing and handled pages.
