c.1910 ALEXANDER DOWIE. Rare Double Photographic Postcard w/Crutches on Wall, &c. Divine Healing & Revivalism

A very fine folding, double photographic postcard of Shiloh Tabernacle, Zion City, IL. This was the primary church of John Alexander Dowie in the community he founded as an earthly representation of the Heavenly Kingdom. It was declared there would be no doctors, no tobacco, caffeine, alcohol, etc., 

This is a fascinating early image showing clearly along the back wall of the Tabernacle crutches and all sorts of medical devices left at the church by people who experienced miraculous healing.
