Three absolutely fantastic assembled albums compiled by and belonging to Ruby Painter of The Victoria Trio and dating from the Vaudeville Seasons from 1911-1918.

The Victoria Trio were initially The Victoria Quartet, at least they were for a few weeks. Almost immediately it switches in the scrapbook, perhaps due to a marriage, falling out, etc.,

The photo album covers the 1916-1918 seasons and contains over 450 unique Vaudevillian images, all labeled and many signed by the respective performers.

The images include: Jack Adams and His Baby Symphony, The Rozellas, Dance Argentino Tango, Spanish Dancers - Maria & Jule, Victoria Trio, Soldiers, Adanac Trio, The Empress Theater in Chicago, Jack Swain, Mary Pickford, Blake Kendall, Otto Khernof - Empress Stage Manager, The Knickerbocker Hotel, The Smallest Horse in the World, The Four Bards, The Oscar Trio, Fenton’s Athletes, The Beveridge Players, Leo Curley, Alvarado’s Goat Circus, Etc’s

Also included are travel photos. We see them with wounded soldiers at Camp Lewis Wass c.1918, Portland Oregon, Seattle, Vancouver, Edmonton, Spokane, Chicago, Topeka, Des Moines, Belle Isle, Detroit, Jacksonville, Camp Dodge, Kansas, San Diego, Omaha, Springfield MO, Arkansas, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, Wichita, New York, Texas, Knoxville, etc.,

In addition to the usual Vaudeville Circuits there are many photos from their work on a USO circuit in both America and Canada during the First World War.

The other two albums are absolutely stuffed, front to back. The first contains an extensive assemblage of clipped articles, notices of various Vaudeville acts, and related "print" ephemera. The second has less clippings and a larger number of small broadsides or handbills, including black face, minstrels, etc., plus signed contracts for various venues, etc.,
