A very nicely preserved second compilation of essays and poems issued by the Rochester Ladies' Anti-Slavery Society embellished with 12 fine portrait plates, including the important black abolitionists William Wells Brown and Frederick Douglass. Many of the pieces are further illustrated with facsimile signatures.

Last sold at Swann for $1,375.00, and that a slightly inferior copy.
