A very crisp 1.5pp ALS entirely in the hand of D. L. Moody, addressed to Brooke, i.e. Hubert Brooke], the noted Keswick speaker and author.
The letter was written during Moody's second revival tour of England. The 7 months were a marked time of revival across England. Historians have noted that Moody and Sankey's two British tours were among the most transformative religious events of the second half of the 19th century.
Very good condition with only minor, neat mounting traces at inner hinge on second page.
