A wonderful original pair of Staffordshire D. L. Moody and Ira D. Sankey sculptures dating from the period of either the 1874 or 1881 revivals in England. Each is shown flanked by a pedestal and having their Bible and Hymn Books respectively.
Highly desirable with each pieces issued by Staffordshire produced, finished, and painted by hand.
As usual, some rubbing, minor losses, cracquelure, etc., but incredibly stable and attractive.
Perfect for the office, study, or library.
